IIT JEE 2011 Study Plan Begins from Tomorrow
Some might have already started the XI class portion.
As per my study plan, candidates can start XI portion from tomorrow, 1st May. Use even today to revise X class portion. The more you remember concepts and formulas from your X portion the more easy it will be to understand and remember XI portion.
You may not have joined any junior colleage at yet. But that should not stop you from your self study. You have to develop the habit of self study. If you do not understand from self study use orkut communities for discussion. There are many more like you and they will help you to overcome the initial conceptual issue clarifications.
IIT JEE Academy is one such orkut community with 325 members as on now. The membership is increasing day by day and participation also will increase. The annual plan and monthly plan for study are already given in this blog. Have a look at them, understand the effort involved and customize the plan according to your needs and preferences.

Improving Memory for IIT JEE
There was an article in a Telugu Daily Eenadu today on page 13 on improving memory.
It talks of three stages
Registration
Retention
Recollection
It emphasizes association.
Associate new information with some old information.
I am emphasizing revision of X class materials till 30th April. Then from May 1 when you read XI material you can associate with known things in X class material. You will have better memory then. Don't create a situation where you learning anything without a continuity. Create a continuity by remembering old chapters. That will make learning new chapters more easy.
I shall write some more pointed covered in this article

IIT JEE 2011 May Study Plan Mathematics Portion
The mathematics portion was given the links and a chapter is added to the maths portion as first three chapters can be completed in 16 days. One has to complete study of the material as early as possible to leave time for good additional subjects and for studying other subjects for board examinations.

IT JEE 2011 Annual Study Plan for Physics 2009-10
Study plan: Every day four and half hours are to be spent to do the first reading, answering questions and problem solving.
For each chapter first ten day period is detailed reading and one hour is to be spent. For the next ten days, the period is treated as revision period for the chapter and half an hour is spent. Thus one and half hours are to be spent for each subject and three subjects require four and half hours of study.
Every student has to customize this plan harmonize with the chapter being covered in his regular class or coaching class. You insert the chapter that is being covered in your class in the place of chapter plannined here and shift one chapter forwards. You will save time and learn better that way. Harmonize your reading with the chapter being covered in your class. But you have to take responsibility for self study, and for covering and completing the portion by December 2010.
